Since Rednecks Democracy Introduced in Libya

The new post-Moammar Gadhafi #Libya has plunged into chaos and lawlessness since the fall of the long-time autocratic ruler three years ago. Government authority has virtually disintegrated in almost all parts of the oil-rich country. Terrorism and militancy is on the rise. The country is divided and militants are taking control in various areas including oil producing and exporting facilities and ports. The resulting lawlessness has allowed terrorists to move weapons and fighters easily across borders. The economy of the once-rich Arab country is also in shambles. Its oil output has dwindled from 1.4 million barrels a day to just 330,000 barrels a day now, according to Mohamed Elharari, a spokesman at National Oil Company. Despite threats to use military force to retake the oil ports, the government in Tripoli does not have the power and the will to act against striking guards and mutinous military units that are linked to secessionist forces in the east of the country. Secessionist movements are gaining momentum and the East-West divide is growing between Cyrenaica and Tripolitania.

Why Libya has descended into chaos and lawlessness?
Why is the central government so weak?
What is the reason for the rise of powerful militants who were supported and armed by countries such as the US, Britain, France, Saudi Arabia and Qatar?
Who do you blame for the lawlessness?
What is the role of NATO’s military intervention for the chaos?
Who will benefit from a poor and anarchic Libya?
